Touching Spirit Bear Chapters 9 and 10 Reflection.

In these two chapters, Cole lays on the ground, afraid he is going to die. He sees a bird's nest and thinks that the birds deserved to be knocked out of their nest. he thought that the mother bird shouldn't take care of the baby birds because she didn't owe them anything. And he felt he didn't owe anyone anything.

During the night, it started to rain, and he saw the Spirit Bear fleetingly. Cole thought the bear was a coward. Then the thunderstorm became massive, and Cole began to yell. A lightning streak hit the oak tree the baby birds were in and it fell to the ground. Cole was worried about the baby birds, so he pulled up enough energy to ask if they were okay.

Cole unwillingly went to the restroom, and he felt helpless. He saw the four baby birds, dead from the tree's falling. He realized that he wanted to live. Cole needed food, so he ate grass. Cole started choking on the grass and did not want to cough, but he also did not want to die, so he coughed, and it really hurt. he ate worms and drank rain. Then Cole caught a mouse.
